Field Director: Jonathan Mayo
Jonathan & Lisa Mayo
Jonathan is the field director and Lisa teaches at Heritage International School. Their children are Jordan (b. 1997) and Ethan (b. 1999). They served in Tanzania for several years before coming to Uganda in 1999.
Kenneth & Delight Hopson
Kenneth works in printing ministries as well as pastoral training. Kenneth also serves as the Kampala Team leader and the MVP coordinator. Delight is the field hostess as well as the field editor for The Call. Their children are Kaleb (b. 1995), Austin (b. 1997) and Emilee (b. 1999). Before coming to Uganda in 2004, they served in Tanzania.
Lisa is a teacher at HIS, the field VIA coordinator, directs the HIS Youth Ministries (grades 7-12), and is the Youth Ministries coordinator for the Africa Gospel Church. She has served in Uganda since 2004. Prior to that, she served with WGM in Bolivia.
Billy & Joanna Coppedge
Billy is the team leader for WGM Uganda in Arua and works in pastoral training in northern Uganda in Nebbi town and in southern Sudan. Joanna works in evangelism and discipleship through Bible studies and relationship building with women in Arua. She is the Arua VIA coordinator. They have a daughter, Elsie Jayne (b. 2007). They came to serve in Uganda in 2006.
The following families are currently raising their support and plan to be joining the team as MD's. Joshua and Kelly Hallahan, Scott and Meg Rambo, John and Nancy Ferg, Matt and Joy Burke
Missionary Volunteer Partners (MVP)
Michael & Brenda Guilliams
Michael and Brenda will be working in Jinja with pastor's training and Community Health Evangelism (CHE). They have one son, Luke (b. 2009).
Volunteers in Action (VIA)
Christina came to Uganda in August 2008 for one school year to teach sixth grade at HIS and is returning as a regional VIA.
Jean arrived in Uganda in July 2008 and has been here for 2 years teaching first grade at HIS. Jean is returning for 1 more year to continue teaching at HIS.
Karli will be teaching PE at HIS for the 2010-2011 school year.
On Special Assignment to Uganda
Rev. Rick & Janie Burkhalter are based in the States but come for field visits twice a year to minister to the Uganda missionaries. They have 3 grown children.
Terry & Karen Duncan have served in Kenya for 30 years and are now serving as regional directors for Africa. They have 4 grown children.
John & Beth Muehleisen have served with WGM for 24 years with most of that time in Kenya. They have 2 grown daughters.
