About WGM Uganda
|
Copies of official documents must be certified or notarized. It is not necessary to bring the original if the copies are certified.
Passport/Visa Information
Passports and visas are required for entrance into the country. Visas can be obtained upon arrival at Entebbe airport. The tourist visa (which is what you originally purchase when you arrive to Entebbe) will cost $50 for three months.
Be very specific with the visa official at the airport, asking for a three month visa (or they may give you only a one month visa). The field office will assist those staying for longer than three months.
Click here for more detailed information on the arrival procedures at Entebbe Airport
Work Permits
Most people who work with WGM are required to obtain a work permit. The field office will assist you in the process when this is the case. Once you have arrived, all of the documents needed for a work permit will be collected, and the process of applying for a work permit will begin. If there is an exception, we will let you know.
